Sunday, June 21st, 2020
The single-story colonnaded porch sourrounds a courtyard called the Paradise. This masterpiece of German Romanesque architecture is located at the shore of Lake Laach inmidst of an active vulcano area. Scientist detected magma raising underneath the lake. Was timely to capture it with my camera before the eruptions…

Wednesday, May 13th, 2020
No, my first potatoes which I planted ever did not catch covid-19. But who would expect frost in the middle of the (almost) summer? Yes, the Ice Saints still exist and have not yet been swept away by climate change. Reassuring.

The beauty of the current confinement leads to discoveries in the immediate environment: the own garden. The blue tits couple is rather busy feeding the youngsters.

Saturday, November 14th, 2009Inside the trunk of an old cherry tree I’ve found this family discussing about the latest colours of their dresses. A lonely mushroom stood aside and was afraid to join them. They might tease him due to his old brown cloak which he was wearing.

left on the parkbench
Thanks to Markus’ encouragements and great help, I take the chance to publish my photos via this blog. I’m sort of glad that he convinced me although I was somewhat skeptical about all this ‘new’ technologies: digital photography, blogging, expecting the world to watch, read and comment my stuff – all this still seemed rather dubious to me.
Since I shifted paradigm from celluloid to pixel sensor(s) I need to place the eventual sensor impacts somewhere. This is the place and it’s great to use the technology to share my impressions of the world with you.
Enjoy!
